ERG-120 is a portable transmitter intended for generating rectangular current pulses in grounded line for exploration with IP or resistivity methods. ERG-120 can be used both in time-domain mode (bipolar rectangular current with 50 % duty cycle) or frequency-domain (square wave).
Operating mode is set by keyboard and LCD display. In general operation mode transmitter is controlled by the receiver via sync cable. There is also a self-test mode to verify the performance quality of the transmitter. On the LCD parameters set by the operator and the current state of transmitter (no stabilization of current, supply voltage) are displayed. Protection against short-circuit, over-voltage and overheating.
In fact ERG-120 is analogue of more powerful IP-1000M transmitter. ERG-120 can operate with different receivers.
