SGD-SEL is a portable linear multichannel seismic station designed to carry out engineering geophysical surveys with methods of seismic reflection profiling, common depth point, microseismogram logging, vertical seismic profiling, crosshole seismic testing, MASW, seismic microzonation and to study upper part of the section. Shockproof construct, built-in control unit with a contrast display and tightly sealed special keyboard increase the reliability level and convenience of work with seismic station.
In addition to the standard sources of signal excitation in near-surface seismic survey (of “weight drop”, “sledgehammer”, “single-shot” types), the station supports operation with Geoton electrodynamic pulsed sources.
An important feature of seismic station is the availability of service data logging channels that allow recording the triggering pulse. When performing the postprocessing, the information from service channels can be used to correct time breaks.

Sparker source Pulse is used to excite pressure (P) waves in water-filled wells during crosshole seismic testing (CST) and vertical seismic profiling (VSP). The operation of the Pulse source is provided by the power supply Jack.
The borehole source SHock is utilized to generate pressure (P-) and shear waves of horizontal polarization (SH-waves) in wells while performing the operations through crosshole seismic testing (CST) and reverse vertical seismic profiling (RVSP) methods. The power supply Jack is used as the source of energy.
